Alumni Speaker Series with a panel on NGO and Public Sector impact on society

On 18 Sept, four AUBG alumni from diverse professional backgrounds came down to campus in Blagoevgrad to take part in September Alumni Speaker Series event in Balkanski Academic Center /BAC/ Delchev Auditorium. The experienced alumni engaged the student audience delivering personal stories and insights into the inner workings of the NGO sector as well as the public structures, that advocate and empower changes that impact the functioning and advancement of our society.

The students learned more on the various career paths, education and qualifications, as well as personal commitments required to work successfully in this field.

The audience met Fidanka Bacheva-McGrath (Class of 2000), EBRD policy officer at Bankwatch, Malina Kroumova (Class of 1998), Chairperson of the State Agency for Road Safety, Radostina Pavlova (Class of 1999), Legal Expert and Project Manager at the Center for Legal Aid – Voice in Bulgaria, and Jordan Karabinov (Class of ’97), President of AUBG Alumni Association and former Member of the Board, Anticorruption Fund.
