2020

Тhe AUBG MultiTalent Quest is an annual event co-organized by AAA with the active participation of several alumni – Deyan Vassilev (Class’95) as Founder and Chief organizer, Petar Svarc as overall Jury coordinator and Chair of Debating Jury, and Stefan Ivanov as Chair of Maths Jury. With the involvement of other alumni this year such as Anguel Anguelov – Mostuna, Venelina Miteva, Yavor Kiryakov, Sevda Yoncheva, Miroslav Arnaudov among others, it becomes a major alumni engagement.

In addition, the alumni-founded company Melon AD generously provides as an in-kind contribution their proprietary learning software system to facilitate the online English and Math tests in Round One.

The goal of the Quest is to bring top-potential high school candidates who will spend three unforgettable days on Skaptopara campus and display their talents. This presents them with an opportunity to appreciate the unique atmosphere at AUBG that would enable them to develop further those talents on campus setting for four years. In a nutshell, the Quest is a viral initiative to create positive buzz about AUBG in its core target group of high-performing 11-graders, and it uniquely positions AUBG as a place for nurturing top talent.

This year’s MultiTalent Quest Finals are scheduled for March 29-31 at the AUBG Campus in Blagoevgrad, accommodating 64 highly motivated 11-graders, who qualified after the first round. The students will be competing in 5 disciplines – Mathematics and Logical thinking, Debating, Solving a Social Problem and Sports or Artistic Performance.

More info on the Quest is available at AUBG website: https://www.aubg.edu/quest and on its Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/AUBGMultiTalentQuest

From the first 2017 edition of the Quest, the university has already admitted 16 first-year students who are among the most active representatives of their class.  The Quest has become institutionalized at AUBG and the Organizing committee is thankful for the proactive support from all alumni, faculty, Admissions office, and current students in the key role of facilitators.
